E-Commerce (Japan)

Job Description

E-Commerce staff position open for in-house Global EC Division at TENGA Headquarters in Tokyo.

 

We have a position available within the Global EC Division at TENGA, for our official online stores in the USA and Europe.

 

In this position you will be working alongside the Department Manager and local offices, utilizing skills in e-commerce sales (promotions, CRM, and advertising) and operation (website upkeep and asset creation).

 

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing skills for digital marketing, and a desire to bring our brands to the hands of our fans around the world.

Requirements

<Required>
・Experience in E-Commerce or Digital Marketing in one or more of the following fields:
– E-Commerce optimization
– E-Commerce promotion / planning
– Customer retention
– Email marketing
・Native Level English with excellent written English skills
・Intermediate Level Japanese

Customer Service (Japan)

Job Description

< Mission >
As the customer support representative, respond appropriately to inquiries and feedback from international customers.
This is an important role in building and maintaining the company’s brand integrity by improving customer satisfaction while sharing possible quality improvements with the Product Development Team.

 

< Responsibilities >
・Respond to brand and product inquiries regarding TENGA and iroha
– Most inquiries from overseas are through email
– Most inquiries involve how to use the products, or quality-related topics.
・Arrange for returning of defective products and/or shipment of replacements (if product is defective)
・Compiling and sorting customer feedback data
– Sharing data with the Product Development Team, leading to improvement of existing products and development of new products.

 

< After Joining the Company >
You will be trained in product knowledge and how to deal with customers.
There are also company manuals on how to respond to inquiries for reference while you are gaining the necessary experience.
Depending on your progress, you may have opportunities to contribute to improvements in customer service quality, work with other departments, and improve the quality of TENGA’s overall business.

Writer/Editor (Freelance)

Job Description

Freelance writers and editors for various forms of text at TENGA. Text to be translated from English or Japanese into various languages to be checked and edited to match the TENGA tone of voice and language. A Language Guide will be provided.

 

Examples of work available:
– User manuals: writing/translating, editing and checking
– Brand site text: writing/translating, editing and checking
– E-commerce site promotions: translating, editing and checking
– Checking pdfs to ensure no mistakes, in text or layout.

 

As you get more used to the TENGA voice, further work could include writing blogs and other content.

Job Description

【About this position】

As our business expands, we’re looking for a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Due to the expansion of the business, sales activities will also include visits to new and existing clients throughout the United States.

 

〈Responsibilities〉

・Build relationships with company vendors, wholesalers, and clients, and provide excellent customer service to each

・Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
